An Air Tractor AT-502B crashed at a banana plantation during an aerial application flight at the Poza Verde farm near Tiquisate, Escuintla.
The pilot died in the crash and the aircraft was destroyed.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
The primary cause of this incident was the loss of situational awareness due to failure to account for the terrain's elevation because of the dense fog covering the area at the time of the event.
