Following an inflight loss of engine power, a Cessna 180 Skywagon sustained substantial damage subsequent to the ensuing forced landing to farm field terrain north of Kahlotus, Franklin County, Washington.
The sole pilot onboard the tailwheel equipped airplane received apparent serious injuries.
