On 25 February 2022, a Ukrainian Air Force Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 (reportedly 35 blue) of the 204th Tactical Aviation Brigade crashed under unknown circumstances in the area between the villages of Hrushka and Korolivka, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
The loss of the aircraft was officially acknowledged by the Ukrainian Air Force in a post in August 2024, further stating that the pilot had been able to eject from the aircraft, and was later rescued by an Air Force Mi-8 helicopter on combat search and rescue duty.
