An ERCO 415-C Ercoupe, N3254B, experienced a loss of engine power and subseuqent impact with heavily forested terrain between Highgate and Hampstead, Saint Mary, Middlesex.
The pilot sustained fatal injuries, and passenger sustained minor injuries.
