Narrative:
29 September 2021: DJI M210 RTK UAV was written off (destroyed/damaged beyond economic repair) when crashed from an altitude of 40 feet (approximately 12 metres) while hovering at Hillingdon, Greater London. The incident was the subject of an AAIB Record-only Investigation, published on 13 January 2022, and the following is the summary from the AAIB Report:

"The UAV fell to the ground from a hover at approximately 40 feet (approximately 12 metres) agl (above ground level) and was damaged beyond economic repair".

Hillingdon is an area of Uxbridge within the London Borough of Hillingdon, centred 14.2 miles (22.8 km) west of Charing Cross. It was an ancient parish in Middlesex that included the market town of Uxbridge.
