Narrative:
8 November 2021: DJI Matrice M300 RTK UAV was substantially damaged when went out of control and fell to the ground at Rhes-Y-Cae, Flintshire. The incident was the subject of an AAIB Record-only Investigation, published on 13 January 2022, and the following is the summary from the AAIB Report:

"After about two minutes of flight, the UA fell, out of control, to the ground and suffered substantial damage. A subsequent inspection of the wreckage identified that the arm holding one of the motors had not been correctly secured, and the pilot stated that this had not been visually checked before flight."

Rhes-y-cae is a small parish and village in Flintshire, Wales. Literally translated from Welsh, Rhes-y-cae is 'Row of fields'. It is situated between Pentre Halkyn and Rhosesmor and is part of the local government community of Halkyn.
