Narrative:
12 July 2020: DJI Phantom 4 written off (damaged beyond repair) when crashed (fell to the ground) at speed and altitude due to failure of battery, at Boston, Lincolnshire. The incident was the subject of an AAIB Record-only Investigation, published on 12 November 2020, and the following is the summary from the AAIB Report:

"During a flight to survey a road junction the UAS battery level dropped to zero and the UAS fell to the ground. A pre-flight risk assessment by the pilot ensured no one was in the vicinity of the UAS during the flight. The UAS was damaged beyond economical repair."
