Narrative:
13 September 2020: DJI Matrice 210 V2 sustained substantial damage when crashed from an altitude of 21 feet at Bath Racecourse, Lansdown Hill, Bath, Somerset BA1 9BU. The incident was the subject of an AAIB Record-only Investigation, published on 12 November 2020, and the following is the summary from the AAIB Report:

"At the end of an otherwise normal flight the UA fell onto grass from 21 ft causing substantial damage. No complicating factors were reported"

Bath Racecourse is a thoroughbred horse racing venue on Lansdown Hill, about 3+1⁄4 miles (5.2 km) northeast of Bath, Somerset, England. It is owned and operated by Arena Racing Company.

The racecourse is a left-handed oval track of 1 mile 4 furlongs and 25 yards, with a run-in of nearly half-a-mile. The home straight is 4 furlongs, with a steady rise and turn. It is the highest flat racecourse in the country and has no watering facility, so the going can become very firm during a dry summer
