Narrative:
26 Sep 2019: DJI Matrice 210 went missing in flight (presumed to have crashed) in the vicinity of Hillsborough Football Ground, Owlerton, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The incident was the subject of an AAIB Record-only Investigation, published on 12 March2020, and the following is the summary from the AAIB report:

Control of the UAS was lost after “aircraft disconnected” and “navigation issue” warnings were displayed. The UAS disappeared from the pilot’s view and was not located.

Hillsborough Football Ground, Owlerton, Sheffield, South Yorkshire is the home of Sheffield Wednesday FC (and has been since 1899). The damage sustained to the UAV is unknown, as it was never found or recovered
