Narrative:
The mission consisted of a military police operation to transport authorities on the Florianópolis/Joinville/Navegantes/Florianópolis routes, with takeoff from Florianópolis to Joinville at 2:30 p.m. On the return flight, the aircraft took off from Joinville (SBJV) at 10:20 p.m. bound for Florianópolis, with four people on board. It made a technical landing in Navegantes (SBNF), dropping off one passenger, and took off at 10:51 p.m., estimating Florianópolis at 11:25 p.m. The weather conditions at the departure and destination aerodromes and along the route were favorable for nighttime visual flight. The aircraft's last contact with Navegantes Radio occurred at 11:06 p.m., when it reported being at an altitude of 500 ft, heading for Florianópolis and estimating the city of Tijucas in two minutes. According to witnesses, there was fog in the area at that time. The helicopter crashed into a hill near the city of Tijucas, and was completely destroyed. The three occupants died at the scene.
