Narrative:
Twin Otter N203E departed Sullivan Regional carrying seven skydivers. Immediately after takeoff from runway 06 witnesses heard a popping sound. The Twin Otter lost height, contacted a utility pole, a tree and crashed next to a house at 1039 North and South Road, just northwest of the airport.

PROBABLE CAUSE: "The National Transportation Safety Board determines that the probable cause of this accident was the pilot’s failure to maintain airspeed following a loss of power in the right engine due to the fracturing of compressor turbine blades for undetermined reasons. Contributing to some parachutists’ injuries was the lack of a more effective restraint system on the airplane."
