The aircraft flew into a radio beacon adjacent to the runway at Croydon Airport, Croydon, Surrey in bad visibility. It stalled and crashed onto a house, destroying a garage and two cars. Pilot Raymond Defives and radio-Operator Edouard L'Huillier were killed.
