Le pilote d'un hélicoptère Robinson R-44 de Québec Hélicoptères a atterri sur le terrain d'une résidence privée à St-Anicet afin de d'embarquer le propriétaire de l'aéronef avant de se rendre à Mont-Tremblant. Lors du décollage, approximativement à 10 pieds du sol, le rotor principal a heurté une branche d'arbre. La zone de la cabine avant de l'hélicoptère s'est retrouvé penché côté droit, suspendue au-dessus de l'eau, sur un mur de pierre. La portion arrière est demeurée au sol. Environnement Canada a été contacté en raison du déversement de carburant. Le passager n'a subi aucune blessure. Le pilote qui était initialement inconscient, a été évacué de l'hélicoptère, reconduit en ambulance à l'hôpital où il a été sous observation toute la nuit. L'aéronef a subi des dommages importants.
