Narrative:
The pilot reported that while taxiing after touchdown, the airplane slid off the side of the runway, impacted a snowbank, and became inverted. He stated that the runway was covered with ice and there was a crosswind. The winds were reported from 330 degrees at 14 knots, gusting to 27.

Probable Cause: the pilot's inadequate preflight planning/preparation, and his failure to maintain directional control while taxiing. Factors in the accident were the icy runway and the gusty wind conditions.
