THE STUDENT PILOT WITH APPROXIMATELY 1 HOUR SOLO EXPERIENCE, GROUND LOOPED THE TAIL WHEEL AIRPLANE AFTER HIS FIRST BALKED LANDING ATTEMPT.

Probable Cause: THE STUDENT PILOT'S FAILURE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL ON LANDING ROLL.
