Narrative:THE PILOT STATE THAT HE ENCOUNTERED TURBULENCE OVER A TREE LINE WHILE ON SHORT FINAL APPROACH. THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO SINK AND BEFORE THE SINK RATE COULD BE ARRESTED THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A TREE. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN SHORT OF THE RUNWAY.
