Narrative:ACFT WAS BEING SLOWED TO HOLDING SPEED IN ICING CONDITIONS. CREW HEARD SOUND OF ICE STRIKING LEFT SIDE OF FUSELAGE FOLLOWED BY SPOOL DOWN OF LEFT ENGINE.
