THE AIRCRAFT LOST POWER AT 100 FEET ABOVE GROUND LEVEL. AN AUTOROTATION WAS ATTEMPTED TO A HIGHWAY. THE HARD LANDING RESULTED IN THE MAIN ROTOR SEVERING THE TAIL.
