Narrative:THE STUDENT PILOT STATED THAT ON HIS THIRD LANDING, THE CROSSWIND WAS MORE NOTICEABLE. DURING THE LANDING ROLL, HE LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WHILE HE WAS APPLYING BRAKES. THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE RUNWAY, COLLIDED WITH A DITCH, AND WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED.
