El 7 de diciembre del año 1933 en la base aérea del Ejército Argentino de El Palomar, provincia de Buenos Aires, aproximadamente a las 11:00hs se encontraba volando a una altura de 700mts el avión Avro 504 registro 11 de la Escuela de Aviación Militar, cuyos tripulantes eran el Subteniente Osvaldo Fock, acompañado del Subteniente Jorge U. Gonzalez, alumnos del segundo curso de aviación, era el avión líder de una escuadrilla que estaban realizando maniobras acrobáticas, realizando una de esas maniobras el avión entro en tirabuzón, se desplomo y cayó a tierra a gran velocidad sin que los tripulantes puedan hacer nada. El avión destrozado y sus tripulantes fallecidos fueron encontrados cerca del polígono de tiro de la Escuela.
