Narrative:
On 1 July 2024, a number of Ukrainian Air Force Sukhoi Su-27 aircraft were targeted in three waves of 9K720 Iskander ballistic missile strikes conducted by forces of the Russian Federation.

It is unknown as to how significantly the aircraft was damaged. However, it is notable that the aircraft appears to have not been operation for a period of around 1 year. One should further consider that In a press briefing for 2 July 2024, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that in total, five Su-27 aircraft were destroyed, and another two were damaged in the strike, for a total of 7 aircraft.
