Narrative:On December 24, 2004, about 0900 coordinated universal time, a Beech 65-90, F-GVRM, was destroyed when impacted a small lake near Montpellier, France. The pilot and two passengers were fatally injured.
Probable Cause
The accident resulted from the crew losing control of the aircraft after a go-around. It is probable that the accident was the result of inappropriate flight control management during the one-engine go-around and an overly late examiner's response.
Contributing to the accident may have been the examiner's lack of recent experience instructing on the BE 90 and his position in the right front seat.
