El día martes 22 de abril del año 1947 un avión Miles Magister I de registro sin identificar, propiedad de Secretaría de Estado de Aeronáutica, el piloto era el Suboficial Auxiliar Benevente; mientras estaban realizando un aterrizaje de emergencia en la localidad de Pergamino, provincia de Buenos Aires; se precipito a tierra, el piloto resultó ileso y el avión con daños sustenciales.
