Substantially damaged May 9 1980: aircraft hooked skid on trap door during takeoff from oil rig near Intercoastal City, Louisiana. Pilot failed to abort take off. Aircraft crashed into the Gulf of Mexico. Pilot drowned. Co flight plan.
