Narrative:1972-03-06: delivered BAF
1973-09-06: Short after take-off from Souda Bay (Crete), BA32, BA38 and a third aircraft got into bad weather
and the aircrews decided to return to Souda.
A short time after this 2 of the aircraft crashed into Mount Kaloros, in the Lefka Ori area,
within 1 minute of each other.
pilot BA-32: Adjt-Vl Van Avermaet Jo killed,
pilot BA-38: Olt-Vl Chaput Jacques (25) killed,
the 3rd aircraft (?) safely landed at Souda Bay
2013-00-00: the remains of both Mirages were still visible in the mountains until at least 2013
