Narrative:Republic F-84F-51-RE Thunderstreak (ex-USAF 52-7139). On 20/9/1955: Transferred under MDAP (Military Aid Development Program) to the Belgian AF as "FU-13" later coded "YL-P".
Written off (destroyed) 28/11/1955: Crashed near Leuze-Longchamps, Belgium. Longchamps (in Walloon Lontchamp-dlé-Du ) a section of the Belgian municipality of Éghezée located in the Walloon Region in the province of Namur .
EDIT:
during a low-altitude mission, the engine stalls,
after two launch attempts, the pilot uses the ejection seat.
This was the first Thunderstreak to be lost (a/c is two months old)
