Narrative:The aircraft was parked beside Terminal 3 on Stand H7 with just the crew on board preparing for flight when a servicing vehicle reversed into position by the forward toilet service valve. The vehicle stopped about one foot from the aircraft before the driver leaned forward to start the drain pumps.
As he did so the vehicle rolled backwards and into the aircraft. According to the police investigator, the servicing vehicle’s handbrake had not been applied.
