El 24 de marzo de 1958 el avión de entrenamiento militar Fiat G.46-2B registro Ea-456. nº/serie 118, perteneciente a la Fuerza Aérea Argentina cuya tripulación estaba compuesta por el piloto Alférez Jorge Augusto Ramírez, promoción XXIII de EAM egresado el 16 de diciembre de 1957, estando acompañado del observador Alférez Héctor Ramón Mascaró, promoción XXIII de EAM egresado el 16 de diciembre de 1957. Aproximadamente a 4 kilómetros al oeste de La ciudad de Paraná, provincia de Entre Ríos, se estrella, falleciendo sus dos ocupantes.
