Narrative:
DH.82A Tiger Moth VH-FAJ, Southern Aerial Super Services Pty Ltd, Campania, Tasmania: Written off (destroyed) 7.3.58 when crashed while crop-spraying a vineyard 1 mile South East of Colebrook, Tasmania. According to the summary of the DCA report into the incident:

"Whilst manoeuvring at low level in turbulent conditions for a spreading operation, the pilot was unable to prevent the aircraft descending into trees".

Ex-A17-308, and VH-AUH ("the first" in 1946-47). Registration VH-FAJ cancelled 15.7.59 as "withdrawn from use".

NSW. Withdrawn from use and registration cancelled 19.12.47. Registered VH-FAJ 19.12.52 to Airmech, Bankstown, Sydney, NSW. Re-registered 17.6.55 to Rural Aviation Co Ltd, Parafield. Re-registered 1.10.57 to Southern Aerial Super Services Pty Ltd, Campania, Tasmania.
