El 15 de febrero del año 1960, el avión Beechcraft B-45/T-34A Mentor registro E-002, nº/serie CG166 perteneciente a la Fuerza Aérea Argentina cuyo piloto era el Alférez Edgar José Esteban ALESSO, promoción XXIV de EAM, egresado en diciembre de 1958, es destruido en un accidentarse, volando en cercanías de Cosquín, valle de Punilla, provincia de Córdoba, falleciendo su piloto,
