Lancaster B.I R5847 "EM-Y" of 207 Squadron took off at 23:37 from RAF Bottesford. Target: Bremen. Shot down by night fighter pilot Maj Radusch of the II/NJG 2, flying a Do 215 B-5 or Bf 110 from Leeuwarden airfield. R5847 crashed at 01:14 at Zwiggelte (Drenthe), 14 km South South East of Assen, Netherlands. All are buried in Westerbork General Cemetery.
