A Marganski MDM-1 Fox, F-CJEE, was destroyed when it crashed in a field while performing low-altitude aerobatics near Chermignac, France.
Both occupants, two aerobatic pilots, one aged approximately 45, and the other a 75 years old instructor, died in the crash.
The glider entered a flat spin during a low, slow maneuver and crashed near trees approximately 800 metres from the airport. Flight radar data indicated an impact velocity of about 185 km/h.
