Narrative:The aircraft had taken off at 03:55 hrs together with ten other Douglas aircraft, to engage the Luftwaffe.
On takeoff, the left wing was hit by shrapnel and the aircraft eventually crashed.
Res.Sgt.Vl. J.F.A. Jansen and Sgt.Vlgt.Sch. K. Beuvink were both injured.
