Narrative: Cirrus SR20 VH-TEL went missing after departing Bankstown Airport around 11:00. It disappeared from radar near Budawang National Park, NSW about 14:55 after a steady descent from 8,000 to under 2,000 feet. The sole pilot, a man in his 60s, was on board. The crash site and media of the aircraft's state have been released via news sources along with a confirmed fatality. The cause of the crash remains unknown.
