During a training mission from Uzundzhovo Air Base, MiG-21UM of 21 IAP crashed near Kaloyantsi, 80 km SE of Plovdiv.
Captain Doychin Boyadzhiev and Instructor Pilot Captain Emil Todorov was killed.
