During takeoff with floatplane SE-IEK, a Maule M-5-235C, from Lake Mettäjärvi, Norrbotten County, the pilot was surprised by a strong gust that lifted the aircraft prematurely. It crashed and sustained major damage; all aboard were uninjured.
