ADAC Luftrettung gGmbH AirbusMBB-BK117 D-2 (Airbus Helicopters H145) "Christoph 67" had landed on the parking lot of a dairy plant in Hohenwestedt, Rendsburg-Eckernförde, Schleswig-Holstein, while the personnel had left en route to the patient. During that time, one of the helicopter blades was struck by a truck on the road. As the blade was damaged, the helicopter was not able to resume operations.
There were no personal injuries.
Christoph 67 was replaced by Airbus MBB-BK117 D-2 (Airbus Helicopters H145) D-HYAQ.
Note: although built by Airbus Helicopters the official type ID is still Airbus MBB-BK117 D-2 (as printed at the serial plate) and the marketing name is Airbus Helicopters H145.
