A-6E Intruder BuNo. 151568/'NL-514' of VA-176, US Navy, based at NAS Whidbey Island, USA. Crashed January 22, 1990: Pilot ejected when the airplane began to roll uncontrollably on takeoff. Both crew - Lt Commander John L. Wilson (pilot) and Lt Commander Floyd R. Cordell (bombardier/navigator) - ejected safely.

NOTE: Some published sources say that the A-6E involved was Bu.No. 152928. However, this aircraft was lost on combat operations over Kuwait on October 18, 1991. A more likely candidate was BuNo. 151568 which was struck off charge at AMARC as 5A0054 November 28, 1990.
