Narrative:A-6E Intruder BuNo. 159313 of VA-95, NAS Whidbey Island. Destroyed October 10, 1978 when crashed 1/2 mile north of Kalaloch, Olympic National Park, in western Jefferson County, near NAS Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor, Washington (at approximate co ordinates 47°36′16″N 124°22′15″W). The pilot, LTJG Ronald L. Wigginton, 25, and bombardier-navigator, LTJG Charles R. Currier, 32 were killed in the accident.
