Narrative:
Ran out of fuel at the end of an air test including aerobatics and manual landings. Crashed 1 mile west north west of Leuchars after the engine cut on final approach. Pilot - Flying Officer Alan MacKillop-Watkinson - ejected too low (at 250 - 500 feet) did not separate from the seat, and was killed
