Narrative:From press reports the Cherokee was making an approach to land at a remote airstrip when it struck power wires and crashed.
Both occupants were able to exit the aircraft, apparently without serious injuries.
The arcing of a broken wire caused a tussock fire which destroyed the Cherokee.
