Training air-defence with two danish F-104 and a german RF-4F Phantom. During the struggle, the pilot flew through the Phantom slipstream and a lound bang was heard. Pilot P.E. Hansen tried to regain control but the a/c did not response and the pilot ejected safely.
Cause: the horisontal stabilized broke when passing the phantom slipstream, therefor the a/c could not be controlled.
