Narrative:
Destroyed 23/7/1956 when crashed on take off during aerial spraying operations at Dubbeldam, East of Dordrecht, South Holland. Aircraft took off in a strong tailwind; crashed on takeoff for spray run Piper flew into a tree, as far as I know. M.J.R. Jonker was the owner of the piper. It was not him who crashed. Pilot was H. Kelder

Additional: The launch was carried out with some tailwind, and the plane rose until just before the barbed wire at the end of the meadow. The tail wheel got stuck, the plane again hit the ground and then hit hard against the side of a back pasture running ditch. It came to a stop in the adjacent farmland. The aircraft was completely destroyed, the pilot was seriously injured. He could himself have abandoned the wreck but had a amount of parathion gotten over it, and himself so helpers washed him directly to the ditch.

NB. For operations from the field in question, the pilot was not granted permission, after this accident revealed that the description for the field was not in accordance with reality.

09/26/1956 - Registration cancelled. Wreck sold Hollandair BV in Katwijk aan Zee.
