Narrative:
Written off (destroyed) 24/4/1969 in a mid air collision with Auster J-1S G-AMVN. Both aircraft destroyed, pilots of both aircraft killed. Note that, although some sources give the crash location as "Fyfield, near Ongar, Essex", according to the official AIB report into the accident, held at the UK National archives at Kew, Surrey, the crash location was given as "WILLINGALE AIRFIELD, WHITLEY GREEN, ONGAR, ESSEX"
