Narrative:STUDENT GLIDER PILOT WAS RIDGE FLYING IN THERMALS THEN LIFT DROPPED OFF. THE ACFT TURNED DOWNWIND, AWAY FROM RISING TERRAIN AND THE PLT MADE AN EMERGENCY OFF ARPT LANDING.
