The trainee pilot was undertaking his first solo flight and bounced on landing. While attempting a missed approach he then retracted the flaps prematurely and the aircraft stalled at low level, the wing contacted the ground and the aircraft then nosed into the grass to the side of the runway. The pilot was uninjured but there was substantial damage to the airframe and engine which was subsequently deemed to be beyond economical repair.
Registration G-BEHW cancelled by the CAA as "Destroyed" 28/11/1995
