Narrative:
The airplane took off for a sightseeing flight near Nazca. It crashed, killing six tourists (three Peruvian, three Chilean) and the Peruvian pilot. The same airplane, OB-1117, was involved in an emergency landing on a road following engine power loss near Nazca in November 2008. Nazca Airlines changed its name from Aero Ica after April 2008 accident.

The Aviation Accident Investigation Commission of the Ministry of Transport and Communications determines the probable cause(s) of the accident as follows:
The loss of control of the aircraft in flight by the crew, by suddenly entering into a stall condition and not having the necessary elements for its adequate recovery.
Contributing causes being:
The structural and aerodynamic overload experienced by the aircraft before it plunged to earth.
Failure to comply with the speeds established by the manufacturer and factors that directly influenced the flight manoeuvres.
