ACCIDENT HAPPENED TO THE SIDE OF THE PROVINCIAL ROUTE Nš 118, IN PROVINCE OF SALINAS, PROVINCE OF CURRENTS. 31 DEC 06 TO 12:15 UTC APPROX

AIRPLANE PIPER PA-A-38-112 LV-OMD.

INFORMATION ON THE FACTS The day 31 DEC 06, the pilot took off with LV-OMD, of the Airport Inns/Liberating Don Jose of San Martin, in the province of Missions; to the effect, the Beautiful aerodrome Vista presented/displayed a plan of visual flight with predicted destiny, in the province of Currents. It registered the duration of flight of two (2) hours and 4500 ft of flight level. The flight was realised in normal form during an hour and a half (01: 30 hs) approximately, when suddenly the motor of the airship began a to undergo a power loss; then, the pilot decided to realise a forced landing on the provincial route Nš 118. To the effect, he approximated on the paved plan, and at previous moments to the landing he managed to observe a cyclist in the route; in order to avoid the collision with that person, he corrected his trajectory, but he did not descry a two-wire laying of low tension to which he attacked. He could land, although, after to cross on the asphalted plan approximately 100 ms, the airship he turned aside himself towards the left, he left the route and he entered soft land, and later he hit against shrubs, taking place the accident
