Un avion de tourisme avec deux personnes à son bord s'est écrasé lundi matin à proximité de l'aérodrome de Médis, près de Royan (Charente-Maritime), faisant un mort et un blessé grave, a-t-on appris auprès des gendarmes et de l'aéroport. L'appareil de type MCR s'est écrasé peu avant 8 heures dans des circonstances encore indéterminées, a précisé l'aéroport. Le passager est décédé sur le coup alors que le pilote a été transporté dans un état grave, selon la même source. Cet accident a eu lieu alors que les conditions météorologiques étaient excellentes, selon l'aéroport.
La préfecture de Charente-Maritime a confirmé le bilan, précisant que des gendarmes étaient sur place pour tenter de déterminer les circonstances de cet accident.
Note:
The aircraft is the VLA classified version (NOT an ultralight) of the MCR-01 so definately a Sporster and NOT a Club ! (official registered as a Dyn'Aero MCR Sportster with the French DGAC)
