Ex-RAF Tiger Moth DE638. First civil registered as G-ANEJ 1 October 1953. Wore RAF makings under permit as "T7245". Written off (damaged beyond economic repair) when crashed and overturned at Owstwick,near Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire on Saturday 15th May 1965.
Registration G-ANEJ belatedly cancelled by the UK Civil Aviation Authority 10th September 1973 as "P.W.F.U." ("Permanently Withdrawn From Use"). A De Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth was photographed at Kuala Lumpur (Sungai Besi/Simpang) (WMKF) in Malaysia, on January 14th, 2015 (see below) and was said to be the former G-ANEJ.
According to some sources "It was in a barn somewhere in Scotland, later bought by British Aerospace and donated to the Royal Malaysian Air Force Museum"
